Having spent his entire career in non-profit leadership, Paul Bowman is dedicated to helping United Methodists steward well the resources God has given them corporately and individually. He serves as Holston Foundation’s President and CEO. Paul enjoys working with individuals on their estate plans, preaching about generosity and meeting with local church leadership assisting in investments in the Foundation.
Having served 32 years in Holston Conference as a pastor and as Conference Director of Congregational Development Ministries, Richard Edwards is committed to partnering with pastors and local churches to strengthen their stewardship ministries and encourage generosity. Richard currently serves as Director of Stewardship for the Holston Foundation in service to the churches and districts of Holston Conference. He enjoys working with pastors and laity to provide practical and theological support for funding their ministry goals. Richard is available to work with local church stewardship/finance teams and to preach in local church settings.
LeRae Collins has spent her career serving non-profits and United Methodists grow their funds and increase their communications capacity. LeRae serves as Director of Communications and is committed to supporting churches and individuals through communications strategies and resources. She previously served United Methodist Communications, local churches, and Imagine No Malaria.
Mark Gooden grew up in Hixson, TN, and graduated from The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga with a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Studies. Mark attended Emory University, Candler School of Theology, and earned a Master of Divinity degree. Wanting to develop his preaching skills, Mark received a Doctorate of Ministry degree from Asbury Theological Seminary.
He has been happily married to his wife Judy for 40 years, and they have two adult children, Timothy and Kylie. Mark and Judy also have a dog named Sally, who also likes to walk with Mark in the morning and hang out on the porch with him.
His favorite Bible verses, which help guide his walk with God, are Lamentations 3:21-26 and Psalm 71:17-19.
Having served for 40 years as a pastor in the Holston Conference, Mark is committed to helping inspire congregations and individuals to invest in the Mission of Jesus Christ through generosity. Mark currently serves as the Vice-President of Development for the Holston Foundation.
