Holston Foundation Scholar Feature: Anna Beeken
Anna Beeken is a recent graduate of Emory & Henry University who has spent the past two summers as a summer ministry intern, an opportunity made possible through the generosity of a Holston Foundation grant.
Anna’s next step is seminary at Boston University’s School of Theology, and she will be supported through a Holston Foundation scholarship.
“I found rural ministry very lifegiving,” says Beeken, age 22, a week after completing a summer internship in the New River District of Holston Conference. “At this moment in time, I see myself coming back to serve in small, rural churches. I think they deserve strong leadership.”
