Holston Foundation Announces 2025 Grants

The Holston Foundation is thrilled to announce a remarkable milestone in our 2025 grant cycle—the highest number of grant requests we’ve ever received! More than 100 ministries and missions from across the Holston Conference sought funding to serve their communities in new and meaningful ways.

Thanks to the incredible generosity of donors—those who have established endowments, given faithfully, and left legacies of hope —the Holston Foundation was able to meet this moment with impact. We funded 76 grants, awarding over $258,000.

Generosity in Action

Food Ministries:
More than $91,500 was awarded to ministries combating hunger across Holston. Because of your support, churches are feeding their neighbors through backpack programs for children, drive-through food banks, community meals, and even church-led gardens that offer fresh, sustainable nourishment to families in need.

Senior Support
Funding was provided for vital programs that care for and connect older adults, offering meals, fellowship, respite care, lifegiving community events, and more that provides support and offers hope.

Youth & Young Adults
From camps to after-school programs, art ministries, youth enrichment, and internships, Holston Foundation grants are used to support children, youth, and young adults. These grants ensure young people experience God’s love in safe, nurturing, and transformational spaces.

A Legacy of Impact

This year’s record-breaking response tells a powerful story: the needs are great, and so is the hope.  Churches and ministries throughout our region are reaching beyond their doors in the name of Christ to make a difference in their communities and beyond.
